Cricket Fundraising Dinner

It will be all about Cricket on Saturday, 8th September at the dinner in the Gryphon Room, which Mark Hardinges, former professional cricketer (Gloucestershire CCC), Old Malvernian and currently Master in charge of Cricket, is organising.

David Graveney, former Chairman of Selectors for the England team, will be the guest speaker and some fantastic auction prizes are available on the night. Malvern College has an enviable reputation for excellence in the game on the delightful setting of the 'Senior Turf' with its spectacular views across the Severn Vale towards the Cotswolds. Proceeds from the dinner will support Malvern's seven cricket teams. Please contact meah@malcol.org for tickets or further information.

Malvern College also enjoys a strong association with Worcestershire County Cricket Club who use the indoor Cricket Centre as their winter training base, which means that many of the College's young players are linked with the county. Malvern has a great tradition of Cricket that is maintained by a constant flow of excellent young players through the College.
